Background

Footprint, established in 2002, is a registered non-profit making organization in Hong Kong. With a group of committee members from Chinese University of Hong Kong, Footprint aims at educating Hong Kong teenagers and spreading the message of Environmental Protection.

Eco-tour is the key focus of Footprint’s environmental education campaign. The aim of organizing eco-tour is to educate the next generation about the great worth and significance of our nature. Footprint has committed to strictly comply with the rule of eco-tour – do not leave anything behind except your footprints; do not take anything away except your memory. Since 2002, Footprint has arranged up to 300 eco-tours mainly for college students.

With the expertise of numerous experienced and professional staff members of Footprint, the organization has provided local college students with wide ranges of environment related services. With the help of Footprint and public donations, our next generations can have a better future.

The main objective of Footprint is to promote the concept – ‘maintaining a balance between human and nature’ to public. Through a series of promotional events, Footprint is going to raise the awareness of youth and let them know more about the real situation of our Earth today.
